El signo personal salvadoreño -afanoso, practico, discreto pero seguramente cordial- Esta de acuerdo con el ámbito escarpado, transparente y capitoso de la breve zona volcánica y costera que parece desbordar su pecho sobre la espuma viva del Océano, conocido por los antiguos españoles como la mar del Sur. Y esa naturaleza, y ese hombre fundido en ella han producido tambien su poesia.
